The Auto-stereoscopic 3D screens technology of Marelli developed in partnership with Alioscopy is based on lenticular lens laminated on top of standard display enables a 3D effect without the use of glasses, allowing the viewer to perceive depth through the naked eye. Currently available 10,25 HD and 12,3 FH.

There are some key features that deserve to be highlighted:

 

• 10.25 HD (1920x720/205ppi) Normally Black IPS TFT

• Scalable Display Platform: 10,25’’/ 12.3’’/2x12.3" HD

• Lenticular technology can be applied on top of a standard display

• µ-lenticular lenses technology enabling autostereoscopic rendering

• Marelli auto-stereoscopic HMI plugin

• Cover Lens with AGAR treatment

• Needles and gauge value highlight (partial read of the content instead to read whole information of display)

• Warning with extensive perception of the danger

• 3D perception of the ADAS event (rear, back, distance, near, …) • Extensive immersion in Map/navigation reading

There are some benefits that deserve to be highlighted:

 

• 3D images can be represented without uses of specific glasses or device

• Enhances the readability of content (3D object, depth perception) and Improves perception of the surrounding environment

• They can replicate complex surfaces of an object or be used to display alerts to the driver

• Cost and space efficiency vs competition: the technology is based on unique display

• Marelli tool chain to develop 3D content with limited SOC resources (CPU/GPU)

• Flexibility in technology application: Possibility to extend the technology to any type of Display
